I hope you are all out enjoying the beautiful sunshine today! The fall colors are in a blaze of glory! For those of you who celebrate Halloween, . . . happy haunting and don't eat too much of the kid's candy like I do! ;-)!
Tuesday, November 3rd will be our monthly meeting with Michael Tuohy from the IMF. Michael was diagnosed at a very young age and had 2 small children at the time. He's coming to speak with us about his journey and what the IMF has done and continues to do for all of us. He has some videos to show and will give us an update on the progress that has been made in resources available to myeloma patients.
Takeda will be providing dinner, so please let me know if you are coming (and how many) by Friday, Oct 30th.. Thank you!
These meetings are always free and open to you, your family and friends, caregivers, health care professionals and anyone with questions about myeloma.
Dinner will start at 7 and Michael's presentation from 7:30 -9 pm.
For more information please email: firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to seeing you there! (And I'm told Bob & Ruth may be back!). ;-)!
Note: If you are feeling ill, coughing or sneezing, please do not attend the meeting! Myeloma patients are much more susceptible to getting sick because of our weakened immune systems. Cold and flu season is even riskier for us. Please be courteous to your fellow patients. Thank You!
